Member Questions:
Drew Tieng: "How would you approach using a camera car in early career, with lower budget?"
Bruce Eisenberg: "What criteria do you use to determine if you use the Filmotechnic car or another rigging method on another vehicle to do the scene?"
Akim: "What’s your opinion on Hydra Arm Mini? obviously it’s not suited for cameras like Alexa or Venice. but if it’s used with Komodo and DJI RS3 pro?"
Brendan Sweeney: "Is there a program or way for young and new cinematographers to test these tools? Can filmmakers come by the office? Would love to get my hands on the products and learn before entering set."
Pascal Hein: "In your opinion, what's the best approach for an off road car spec spot (like Jeep) for getting a good mix of shots, high, low, dynamic movements...mounted Ronin could be too shaky for off road?"
Chris Anthony: "Many folks already own a decently light camera like a V-Raptor and also have a Ronin 2. Are you open to mounting that kind of rig and allowing the regular crew to operate the camera movement only?"
Akim: "Why choose car instead of big drone that can lift heavy cameras with gimbals? As I understand it, it has more freedom of movement and its limited by pilot skills?"
Jerry Nikolaev: "I would assume an arm will always beat out a drone with smoothness/stiffness on the camera movements?"
